At four eyes, we believe in giving back. We do so by working with partners to provide the gift of sight to under-resourced communities.
For every pair of spectacles you purchase from four eyes, a portion of your money will be used to fund the material costs for sight restoring surgery.
80 percent of blindness can be treated or prevented. Yet, there are 18 million needlessly blind cataract patients awaiting care in places such as Nepal, Myanmar, India, Bhutan and Ethiopia.
Through the generous support from people like you, the Himalayan Cataract Project (HCP) and its partners have provided more than 1.5 million screenings and performed more than 115,000 surgeries across Asia and Sub-Saharan Africa. In order to strengthen and grow eye care systems in these regions, HCP has also trained over 300 ophthalmic personnel from 19 countries since 2005.
